AltRider Pillion Luggage Rack - BMW R 1200 & R 1250 GS /GSA Water Cooled
Increase your carrying capacity and versatility with AltRider’s Pillion Rack for the water cooled BMW R 1200 GS and R 1250 GS. This clever rack mounts using the keyed latch of the pillion seat – no hardware, brackets or tools required. AltRider currently offers the only pillion rack on the market, due to the engineering challenges caused by the new seat moving forward and rearward.
If you own both the Pillion Rack and the Rear Rack, you have the option of an alternate configuration which allows simultaneous mounting of the Pillion Rack, factory upper plastic rack with grab handles, and Rear Rack in upper position (bolted to the factory rack). Note that hardware from the Rear Rack kit is necessary to use the Pillion Rack with factory plastic rack.
While each AltRider luggage options are available separately, get the most out of your adventure bike with AltRider’s Luggage System for the liquid-cooled R 1200 /1250 GS. The pillion rack combines with the AltRider Rear Luggage Rack to create over 3 square feet (.29 square meters) of completely smooth luggage surface.
Not compatible with BMW Vario side cases. Compatible with R 1200 /1250 GS Adventure with Rear Luggage Rack mounted in lower position (requires removal of OEM steel top box rack -- compatible with steel pannier racks).

Motorcycle Unit Shipping Policy
Shipping of motorcycle units is only allowed for specific cases. Please contact our sales team to check eligibility and payment process.
New and unused items within the first 10 days of delivery can be exchanged or refunded. Items must be returned with all manufacturer’s packaging and placed inside an external shipping box.
Important: Anything sent back to us without an external shipping box is breaking our refund/exchange policy and will be sent back to sender without a refund.
Helmets & Apparel
Any merchandise which has been “taken out for a ride” is considered used and cannot be returned. We encourage you to walk on your carpet if trying boots, or to wear your helmet indoors before heading out on the bike.
Vehicle Parts
Any part which has been installed or shows signs of attempting to be installed on a vehicle is non-returnable.
Easy Return Shipping
The cost for return shipping is a flat $25 + tax and will be deducted when we issue your refund.
Exchanges
If you’d like to make an exchange, you will need to place a second order for the new item.

Ship your package
Take your package to a Canada Post outlet. We will contact you once we receive your return. You will see your monetary refund within 3–5 business days after the refund is issued.
Return Exemptions
Certain conditions and exceptions can be applied to our return policy. If you're unsure if your product qualifies, give us a call. There are certain items that we cannot accept as returns. These include:
- Chemicals that are open.
- Certain electronic items: only electrical items that have not been opened may be returned. OEM and aftermarket ignition components are not returnable (coils, stator, CDI).
- Acid-filled batteries.
- Due to customs fees on returns, international sales are final.
