TurkanaGear HippoHips™ BMW GS adventure motorcycle touring pannier frame bracket adaptor allows you to mount the HippoHips™ soft luggage quick release hard plate system.
It is compatible with BMW R1200GS, R1250 GSA, F850 GSA and other models with GS Adventure pannier frames.

BMW Motorrad GS Adventure original equipment manufacturer (OEM) pannier motorcycle touring frames are designed to mount their aluminium panniers and do not have a standard flat pipe frame profile on the exhaust side.
Crafted from tough, 3mm powder-coated aluminium, this little marvel bolts seamlessly to your HippoHips™ soft luggage hard plate mount, creating a rock-solid foundation for your panniers or whatever you tie-down to the plates..
Universal Compatibility
Works like a charm on both air-cooled and water-cooled BMW GS models, including the R1200GS, R1250GSA, F850GSA.

Our hard plates are built from glass-filled reinforced Nylon6, making them lighter than metal and immune to fatigue – so they can handle anything the road throws your way.
Easy Installation
The laser-cut aluminium adaptor plate attaches effortlessly to your HippoHips™ hard plate with just four stainless steel bolts and Nyloc nuts. Plus, the clever clamps secure the entire setup to your BMW pannier frame with ease.
The opposite side of the BMW pannier frame is nice and flat, so our standard 16mm-20mm brackets will fit perfectly.
Motorcycle Unit Shipping Policy
Shipping of motorcycle units is only allowed for specific cases. Please contact our sales team to check eligibility and payment process.
New and unused items within the first 10 days of delivery can be exchanged or refunded. Items must be returned with all manufacturer’s packaging and placed inside an external shipping box.
Important: Anything sent back to us without an external shipping box is breaking our refund/exchange policy and will be sent back to sender without a refund.
Helmets & Apparel
Any merchandise which has been “taken out for a ride” is considered used and cannot be returned. We encourage you to walk on your carpet if trying boots, or to wear your helmet indoors before heading out on the bike.
Vehicle Parts
Any part which has been installed or shows signs of attempting to be installed on a vehicle is non-returnable.
Easy Return Shipping
The cost for return shipping is a flat $25 + tax and will be deducted when we issue your refund.
Exchanges
If you’d like to make an exchange, you will need to place a second order for the new item.

Ship your package
Take your package to a Canada Post outlet. We will contact you once we receive your return. You will see your monetary refund within 3–5 business days after the refund is issued.
Return Exemptions
Certain conditions and exceptions can be applied to our return policy. If you're unsure if your product qualifies, give us a call. There are certain items that we cannot accept as returns. These include:
- Chemicals that are open.
- Certain electronic items: only electrical items that have not been opened may be returned. OEM and aftermarket ignition components are not returnable (coils, stator, CDI).
- Acid-filled batteries.
- Due to customs fees on returns, international sales are final.
